Linux Scaring You?

The name says it all. Have you just switched to Linux, or want some tips for if you do? Then go to the tuXfiles. It's great, simple and has some down-to-earth and simple articles on getting more out of Linux.

I thoroughly recommend it to ANYONE who has linux, even those that with some experience (obviously the people who helped write the kernel probably wont need this site) because the author has 6 years of experience with no Microsoft OS to fall back on!

Also, if you're interested in learning more about Linux such as what it is, how to get it and other information, here are some links to great sites. In the future I'll be adding posts about Linux, so keep you eyes peeled!
  • Linux.org - A centralised starting point for upgrading to Linux.
  • Gentoo.org - Home site of the Gentoo Distribution of Linux.
  • Redhat.com - Home site of my current Linux Distribution: Fedora Core 3 (see also fedora.redhat.com, fedoralegacy.org)
  • Xandros.com - Probably one of the most user friendly distributions for the home desktop user.
  • tuXfiles.org - Great articles on learning how to use Linux.
